Full Description
A rapid walkover survey was carried out for a WGS by J Wordsworth in 2000.
The modern OS map marks 2 dykes or fences in a NW direction c100m apart at this point. No trace of dykes or such features was observed extending into the survey area though heavy bracken growth at the boundary fence may have obscured this. They would appear to mark the remains of a field, possibly with an associated settlement. <1>
