Full Description

An archaeological assessment of the proposed route of the pipelines between Letterfearn and Ratagan, Ratagan and Ault a' Chruinn, and Ardelve and Sallachy was undertaken by C Dagg in 2000.

Structures: The footings of two rectangular buildings, the larger aligned NE-SW , the smaller to the north of this and aligned NW-SE. Not now visible on the ground but indicated by aerial photographs, is an enclosure to the SW of the larger building. A track is visible connecting these buildings with the road. One building and this track are marked on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map. (Photo no. 2) <1>
