Full Description
An archaeological assessment of the proposed route of the pipelines between Letterfearn and Ratagan, Ratagan and Ault a' Chruinn, and Ardelve and Sallachy was undertaken by C Dagg in 2000.
Manse and associated buildings. Old settlement area. The alluvial fan now occupied solely by the manse and its associated farm buildings is most likely the site of the pre-Clearance settlement named as Muck on the Blaeu map. It does not, however, appear to be marked on the Roy map. Aerial photographs show no features, and it is possible that no structures have survived later ploughing and field clearance. <1>
