Full Description

An archaeological assessment of the proposed route of the pipelines between Letterfearn and Ratagan, Ratagan and Ault a' Chruinn, and Ardelve and Sallachy was undertaken by C Dagg in 2000.

Church and Land: Another possible location for the original pre-Clearance settlement of Muck, again it is unlikely that any structures from this period will have survived later cultivation. No features are visible on the aerial photographs: in 1946 the arable land is divided into cultivated strips. The church is still in use (see MHG7446 for church). <1>
