Full Description

A turf dyke to the northwest of Achvraid House. The feature is partially visible on vertical aerial photographs taken in 2020 as well as others taken previously and is also visible in Scottish Gov/SEPA LiDAR data where it can be seen to loop around a possibly associated hut circle (see MHG62783) to form at least three sides of a possible curving enclosure. It may have formed part of a contemporary field system with the hut circle as it does not appear on any OS mapping. <1>
