Full Description
A mill dam to the south of Balrobert. The dam and the pond it created are shown on the OS 1st Edition map, with a lade then running northwards to buildings in the Balrobert farnsteading complex, presumably to supply water for powering farm machinery (as no mill is indicated), and beyond. <1>
The pond is now dry but the earthwork dam appears to be extant as seen on Scottish Gov/SEPA LiDAR data. <2>
