Full Description
Part of the possible township or settlement boundary of the former settlements of 'Ballendinbuie' (see MHG2593), Balnacarn (see MHG23079) and 'Ballintarn' (see MHG23082) . It is visible on vertical aerial photographs as a low linear earthwork running between the Allt na Muic and the Allt Baile nan Carn to the north of the current farmstead of Balnacarn and then eastwards where it appears to bifurcate, with the northern branch subsequently lost in a modern forestry plantation and the southern branch continuing southeastwards to just to the other side of the modern road. <1> <2>
