Full Description

Lying on flat ground covered in part by heather, grass and rushes on either side of the Allt Dubh Mor, the remains of several shieling-huts and a house are indicated by a change in vegetation.

Feature 6; Close to the west bank of the Allt Dubh Mor on a low grass and rush covered mound, not more than lm above the river plain, a sub-rectangular shieling-hut lies on a N-S axis. It measures 4m by 2m. The north end is rounded and a possible entrance lies on the east side.

Feature 7; To the east of the Allt Dubh Mor on the river plain are traces of a sub-rectangular shieling-hut measuring 4.2m long N-S by 2.8m, on a slight mound much covered with rushes and some heather. <1>
