Full Description

A second archaeological survey of Sandwood Estate in the parish of Eddrachillis was undertaken by ACFA in 2002.

Overlooking the bay on a grass and bracken covered slope some 8m in front (south) of a steep scarp, this is a sub-rectangular structure 2.5m by 2.5m with much stone scatter both inside and out. The walls stand to a max. height of 0.4m. There is an entrance at the SW comer. <1>
