Full Description

NJ15NE 15 1539 3589.

At NJ 1539 3589 is an ill-defined circular stone-walled hut measuring c.10.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to c.2.0m wide in the W and to an indeterminate thickness elsewhere. A gap c.0.6m wide in the SSE may be the entrance.
The hut occurs in the NW part of a probably contemporary field system centred at NJ 156 357 and defined by stone clearance heaps and occasional lynchets, which have been denuded and obscured by later cultivation.
Hut surveyed at 1/2500.
Visited by OS (A A) 3 March 1971.
