Full Description
Centred NJ 0520 4600
On S side of a ridge to N of Berry Burn are what may be the remains of two hut-circles. That to the E (NJ 0525 4598) measures 7.9m from WNW to ESE by 6.3m internally and is scooped into the slope by about 0.9m on N. Fragments of a bank are visible around E, S and W, and inner facing stones to the N. A gap in the bank to ESE may be the entrance.
Some 35m to W (NJ 0522 4599) is a platform measuring 5.8m in diameter within a fragmentary bank. The interior is scooped into slope by about 0.5m, and there are intermittent facing stones to N. To NW of hut-circles (NJ 0520 4600) is a rectangular hut measuring about 3m by 2m overall and 0.2m in height.
