Full Description

NH 888 523. There are two contiguous hut circles in a wood 600m SE of Geddes House. The S example measures 12.6m from E to W by 11.7m transversely between the wall centres; the N example measures 15m from SE to NW by 13.4m transversely. The walls of both are spread to 2m in thickness. The entrance to S house probably lay on SE.
RCAHMS 1978.

At NH 8884 5238, on an afforested ridge, are two adjoining hut circles. The huts, turf-and tree-covered, are very poorly defined. Entrances are discernible in SE sector on line of the long axis in both cases. S hut measures 10.5m by 9.5m within a wall reduced to a rubble spread up to 0.4m high and from 2m to 4m broad. N hut measures an estimated 13m by 10.5m inside a wall, surviving as a rubble band 0.3m high and 2m to 2.5m broad. There is no sign of associated land-use.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (J M) 28 January 1981.
