Full Description
Several brass Roman coins, four Roman spearheads, and a round piece of thin metal, hollow on the underside, were found in Inshoch Moss
G Bain 1893
Since the objects do not survive, it is not possible to identify further. However, a late Bronze Age hoard with two axeheads, two spearheads and hollow ring was found in the 18th century in Inshoch Moss (see MHG7056) and it is possible Bain was confusing this find, which is also reported as being found at a similarly early period. <1>
