Full Description
NH65SE 8 65 53.
A cist, about 2' square and containing a complete skeleton and fragments of an ornamented urn which was sent to Sir Colin Mackenzie of Kilcoy, Belmaduthy House - NH 65 56), was found on the edge of a sandy terrace, on Cnoc-na-gonnan, on the farm of Gateside (NH 65 53) by the author's grandfather Angus Bethune while improving that part of his farm 'a good many years' before 1882.
