Visible on AP's (OS 67.095: 314-15, flown May 1967)

At NH 9163 5168, in a clearing in reafforested land, is a cairn measuring c 17.5m diameter and c 1m in height. A kerb of contigious stones is visible round most of the periphery. The cairn appears to be undisturbed.
Around the cairn and extending for about 100.0m to E are several stony mounds averaging 5m in diameter. Some have been ploughed through revealing a content of different sized stones indicating that they are stone clearance heaps.
Surveyed at 1/2500. Visited by OS (RL) 14 January 1971
