A (possibly) chambered cairn at Aultivullin.

Small cairn on hillside, visible from the road. No features. Diameter about 15 ft.
Information contained in letter from A S Henshall (NMAS) to A J Boyd, Inverkirkaig, 30 June 1954.

NC 2907 0942. This cairn, apparently undisturbed, has a diameter varying between 6.0m and 7.0m, with a maximum height on the downhill (SW) side, of 2.0m. Two or three larger stones on the perimeter may be part of a kerb.
Visited by OS (E G) 2 June 1962.

The cairn was scheduled in 1977.

A cairn, as described, which has been preserved in a clearing amidst recent afforestation.
Visited by OS (N K B) 18 June 1980.

The scheduling was amended by Historic Environment Scotland with effect from 23/10/2018. <1>
