(NC 967 635) Hut Circles (NR) OS 6"map, (1963)

Three turf-covered hut circles (A-C) on a moorland ridge.
'A', set in the slope, measures approximately 7m in diameter within a wall spread at most to 2m and 0.4m high. The S quarter is mutilated.
'B', set in the slope, measures an estimated 6.5m in diameter within a wall spread from 2-2.5m and up to 0.4m high.
'C' measures about 8.5m in diameter within tenuous wall remains. Within the hut in the entrance sector a concave arc of banking, 2m wide by 0.3m high, suggests a secondary hut circle 5.5m internal diameter.
In the general vicinity of the hut circles two or three slight, peat-covered mounds probably denote associated stone clearance.
Revised at 1:10560. Visited by OS (J M) 4 August 1981.

On vertical aerial photographs dating to 1999-2001, there appear to be a further eleven circular features in the immediate vicinity most of diameters approximately 8-9m, with one of c.13m. Whether these are all also hut circles is uncertain:
