Full Description

NG98SE 1 99 80.

Lochan na Bearta - Lochlet of the dead. Near it are said to be uamhagan (little caves, holdes). That would hold twenty persons. This seems like a description of earth-houses. Unfortunately the place is remote, and those who knew the uamhagan in their youth are to aged to guide one to the spot.
W J Watson 1904.

There are supposed to be possible earth-houses, near Lochan na Bearta.
