Remodelled 1880-1 by Alex Ross. A modest Munro house enlarged by various owners until in 1880 bought by Charles William Dyson Perrins who had Ross add another 30 rooms in exaggerated baronial style etc etc - E Beaton, 1992, Ross & Cromarty - HAW 10/2002
