Full Description
A fine example of a stone axe-head, believed to be from Cumberland, is in the possession of Miss J Ross, Millbank, Evanton. It was found in a field on the farm of Millcraig; the date of find is not known, but probably c1852, when many improvements were carried out on the farm. Visited by OS (W D J) 11 May 1965.
The axehead is within Tain Museum (2019). Believed to be from Langdale. <1>
