Full Description

Two small triangular-shaped arrow-heads, with rounded bases, and three small arrow-heads with barbs and stems, all found in the neighbourhood of Evanton were exhibited to NMAS by William Urquhart, FSA. Scot., Evanton. Another barbed and tanged arrowhead of flint, found at a peat moss in Glenglan, was also exhibited.

Small bead of blue, yellow, and white vitreous paste found at the seashore in sand and the fragment of another bead, of brown and yellow paste locality unknown.

The two beads described in the same article as the arrowheads have been added to this record. There is limited information regarding all of the objects beyond that they were all found locally to Evanton, and this record has only a marginal grid refence reflecting this. GW 06/05/20
