This cairn was completely removed in Spring of 1965 by the farmer of Mid Ferryton (Info from Mr Mathieson, Farmer, Mid Ferryton, Ferryton). A slight depression in the ground at the published site now marks the former position of the cairn. No finds were made during the removal.
