Cnoc Fair' an Duin (NAT) OS 6" map, Ros-shire, 2nd ed., (1907)
A hill situated on the ridge of Knoc corr Guinie and SE of Druim na Fheidh. (Sig. "Watch hill of the Tower".) There may have been a tower on this hill at some remote time, but if there was, it has been swept away as no vestiges of it are now to be seen.
Name Book 1874.
No evidence of a fortification seen. No further information.
Visited by OS (E G C) 9 May 1963.
The name Cnoc Fair an Duin is applied on OS 6" map, (1969) to a boggy saddle, an unlikely place for an antiquity and certainly not a situation for a broch or dun. Nil antiquity.
Visited by OS (A A) 5 November 1970.
