Red Castle (NAT) (Site of) OS 6" map, (1960)
Red Castle formerly stood on a hillock between farm of Drumancroy and Mains of Arboll. The remains of castle were removed a short time prior to 1872.
Name Book 1872.
No trace. The published site falls in a low-lying area, and not on a hillock as described.
Visited by OS (I S S) 6 September 1972.
