(Centred NH 586 527) Cairns (NR) OS 6"map, (1959)
A number of small cairns of stones (22 shown on OS 1st edition 6"). There is no local information as to their purpose.
Name Book 1872.
No trace of these alleged cairns in dense afforestation. They were probably stone clearance heaps.
