Situated on a gentle W-facing slope immediately E of a burn and about 120m W of a hut-circle (NH 55 NW 43), there is a circular enclosure which is shown on the 1:10000 map. It measures about 7.8m in diameter within a turf-covered bank up to 2.7m in thickness and 0.4m in height, and there is a shallow internal ditch measuring 2.2m in breadth. An entrance, 1.5m in width, is situated on the E side, and outwith the bank there is an external ditch measuring about 2m in breadth and 0.2m in depth.
Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 1 March 1989.

This feature looks like a standard prehistoric hut circle when seen on Environment Agency LiDAR. <1>
