Carn nan Conach (Site of) OS 6"map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed 1907
Carn nan Conacht {NR} OS 6"map, Ross-shire, 1st ed., (1871).
Near Balnahinsh is the site of Carn nan Conach.
W J Watson 1904.
"A small spot of ground supposed to be the place of interment of men who fell at the battle of Lamentation Hill. It is under cultivation now but about 2 years ago there was a stone wall round the spot which was removed by the tenant when trenching the ground".
Name Book 1875.
Nothing remains of this cairn. The area has recently been deep ploughed by forestry activities and planted with confiers.
