(NH 5595 9113) Stone Cist found A.D. 1859 {NAT}
OS 6"map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., (1907).
Aodann Mhor, signifying 'Great Face', is a large knoll on N side of the road. A stone cist was dug up in 1859.
Name Book 1875.
No further information was found during field investigation. The site lies in an arable field on the top of a natural bank with no indication of a knoll.
Visited by OS (W D J) 23 May 1963.
