Carn Bhren {NAT} OS 6"map, Ross-shire, 2nd ed., (1907)
Carn Bhren or Carn Breathainn. There is a legend connecting it with Fingal's dog Bran. He entered a cairn there and was never seen again. It means Raven's Cairn.

Carn Bhren is a hill with broken natural outcrop on knolls in abundance. There is no trace of a cairn on or around it.
