On the lower slopes of Auchtertyre Hill, between two burns, at a height of 85m OD are the ruins of three rectangular structures. Two of the structures lie close together and measure 8m by 4m over walls 0.75m thick. The third structure lies 20m to the E on a higher level and also measures 8m by 4m over walls 0.75m thick. All three buildings share a southern aspect and have S-facing entrances.
