(NC 83343193) Hut Circle (NR).
OS 6"map, (1963)

The mutilated remains of a hut circle found during field investigation on the south-facing hill-slope. It measures 10 m in diameter and has a bank 0.3 m high and 1.2 m wide, with an entrance in the SW.
Visited by OS (W D J) 17 May 1961

This hut is as described above. There are one or two clearance heaps in the immediate vicinity but no other traces of cultivation are visible. It is quite probable that the hut is associated with the neighbouring settlement at NC 83 SW 2, and its large field system.
Revised at 1/10,000
Visited by OS (J B) 25 Feburary 1977
