NC70SE 16 76 00.
Aberscross was the residence of the Murrays who came to Sutherland in 1198. Scarcely a vestige remains of their seat, yet the green fields around it show where they lived.

Aberscross depopulated site is centred at NC 769 001, but none of the remains could be identified as representing a tower. No further information.
