Full Description
An amber bead in the form of a ring of oval cross- section, 2.4 ins in diameter, 0.5 ins hole diameter and 0.75 ins thick, was found at Knockdhu (NC 597 060) Lairg, and was donated to Dunrobin Museum by Mrs MacKay, possibly in 1934. (Acc. No. 1934.1)

The amber object was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. No. 1934.1. It is on display in case 29, shelf C.<1>
