Full Description

At NC 97032060 and NC 97112064 are two stone-walled huts (A and B respectively) situated on a SW-facing hillslope. The huts are of similar appearance, and are obscured by heather.
'A' is set into the slope, and measures 8.5m in diameter within a wall spread to 2.5m wide. The somewhat indistinct entrance is the the SE arc. Some 10m to the NW of this hut is a circular cell of similar construction. It is 2.5m in diameter within a wall spread to 1.5m. One inner facing stone on edge is visible, and on either side of an entrance in the south are two boulders (one displaced). This construction is too small to be considered a hut, but it may be contemporary with hut 'A'. Hut'B' is 10.0m in diameter within a wall spread to 2.5m widening to 4.0m at a clubbed entrance in the SSE arc. The wall survives to a maximum height of 0.5m.
There are one or two clearance heaps in the vicinity of the huts, and further clearance about 100m to west, but no system of cultivation plots is apparent.
Surveyed at 1:10 560. Visited by OS (N K B) 14 January 1977
