NC85SE 11 8953 5113.

At NC 8953 5113 on a platform in an east-facing slope is a hut circle, 8.0m in diameter within a turf and heather-covered wall, 0.3m maximum height, spread from 1.5m to 2.0m. The wall in the west half retains intermittent inner facing stones, but the hut is mutilated by the passage of tracked vehicles. The entrance, of simple form, is in the south arc. On a terrace about 100m to the south are one or two stone clearance heaps but no pattern of fields is evident.
Surveyed at 1/10,000.

This hut has been destroyed by the construction of a new forestry road. Visited by OS (J M) 13 June 1977.
