Full Description

The ruins of a small farm-steading.
Name Book 1873

This farm comprises the footings of one house, 45m by 4m, with a kale yard attached, one outbuilding, and run-rig on the adjacent haugh land. Visited by OS 24 June 1977.

A farmstead comprising one roofed building and two enclosures, one of which is located on the site of a hut-circle (NC85NW 2), is depicted on the 1st edition of the 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xix). One unroofed long building and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1989).
