These are two hut circles (A and B) and with a further one (C) newly located at NC 8884 5811. There are no signs of associated cultivation. These huts, turf and heather-covered, are grouped closely together, 'A' on a rise overlooking the other two set into the slope just below. The situation, on the south bank of a stream at the foot an east-facing hillside, is sheltered. 'A' is strongly constructed and much the best preserved, being 9.5m in diameter inside a wall spread to 4.0m and, in the NW arc, standing 1.2m high. The entrance is in the SE. In the hut interior are traces of a structure measuring 2.0 by 1.5m.
'B' is very ill-defined the wall having been robbed, particularly in the east half, and then later stone clearance piled over and against it, leaving little recoverable detail. The entrance is not evident.
'C' is 8.0m by 7.0m within a wall spread to 2.0m and, at best, 0.4m high; the entrance is in the SE on the line of the longer axis. A few inner facing slabs are apparent in the hut wall.
Huts A and B - Revised at 1/10,000.
Hut C - Surveyed at 1/10,000 and 1/10,560.
Visited by OS (J M) 14 June 1977.

The agricultural track has recently been re-cut is now routed through the centre one of the hut circles ('B') as well as the nearby meeting house. It appears from recent photographs that the track also now abuts a second hut circle (probably 'A') <1>.
