(NC 8010 6245) Enclosure (NR)
OS 6" map (1962)

On the flat top of a high promontory in the confluence of two steep stream gullies is a heather-covered hut circle-discovered during field investigation.
Visited by OS (WDJ) 26 April 1960

The hut circle is 10.0 by 9.5m internally; the wall reaches a maximum height of 0.3m and is spread to 1.0-1.5m. An entrance, from the SE, is on the line of the longer axis. The smooth cropped vicinity of the hut probably indicates associated cultivation. On the steep slope across the gully to the east are one or two stony mounds which appear to be field clearance.
Visited by OS (JM) 15 June 1977
