OS 6"map, (1964)

An enclosure was found during field investigation.
Visited by OS (W D J) 17 May 1960.

On a NE-facing hillslope, in open moorland adjacent to an old stream terrace, is a stone-walled hut circle within a minor field system. It measures 11.5 E-W by 10.5m internally within a heather-covered wall about 1.2m wide, which widens perceptively at the entrance in the east arc, and in the north. The minor field system, occupying one hectare, comprises scattered stone clearance heaps and one or two lynchets; no distinct cultivation plots are in evidence.
Visited by OS (J M) 7 June 1976.
