Whalebone Implement found AD 1867 (NAT).
OS 6"map, (1964)
Adjacent to Wilkhouse a hammerhead made of whalebone was found c AD 1867. Name Book 1873.
This object is in Dunrobin Castle Museum.
Visited by OS (W D J) 3 April 1962.
The whale bone mallet was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. No. ARC 604. It is on display in case 26, shelf A.<1>
