Full Description

An uncompleted stone axe, 145mm long with a cutting edge of 40mm, found near Forsinard station, is in possession of Mr Falconer, Bridge Street, Halkirk.
D Omand 1976.

According to Mr Omand this stone axe, which is "partially polished" was discovered by Mr Falconer in the metalling of the railway (precise position not ascertainable). The axe is still in the possession of Mr Falconer.
