Full Description

NC91NE 57 9727 1881.

At NC 9727 1881, in a sheltered position from the N on the birch wooded, W bank of a stream, is a wasted, circular stone-walled hut circle. There are no traces of an associated field system; 18th/19th century clutivation has encroached upon the area. The hut is about 8.5m diameter internally. The wall is for the most part vague, but at an entrance form the E there is a stony spread of 2.2m; edging slabs in the entrance show it splayed from 0.9m width at the inside to about 1.5m at the outside. Surveyed at 1:10,560.
