Full Description

An axe of fine-grained stone weathered to mid-grey, 5ins long by 2.2ins in maximum width, from Crakaig Moss, Loth (Area NC 95 10), is in Dunrobin Museum, probably received in 1873 (Acc. No 1873.1).

The axehead was catalogued during an inventory of Dunrobin Castle Museum's collection in 2019 by ARCH. Listed under Acc. Nos. 1873.1 and ARC 19. It is on display in case 31, shelf D. <2>
