A hut circle (A) was found during field work.
Visited by OS (J L D) 9 June 1960.

There are two reduced and peat-covered stone-walled hut circles (A and B) - 'A' now at correct plan position NC 9947 1974 and 'B' located at NC 9945 1969 - set in the lower reaches of a westerly facing hillside. There are no signs of associated agriculture. Both huts are levelled into the slope, and a simple entrance in each is from the S on the line of the longer axis.
'A' is about 9m by 7.5m inside a wall spread to 3m.
'B' is about 8.5m by 7.5m within a wall spread on average to 3m. Surveyed at 1:10,560.
