Full Description

NC92SE 8 974 217.

Centred on NC 974217, in rising moorland open to the SW, is a settlement of three hut-circles (A-C). There are no signs of associated cultivation. The huts are set into the slope and are thickly heather-clad.
'A', the poorest preserved, is 10.0m diameter inside a wall practically denuded in the S arc but elsewhere spread to 3.0m. An entrance is no longer apparent.
'B' and 'C' are 9m diameter within walls spread to 3.0m and standing on average to 0.5m. Entrances are through their S arcs.
Surveyed at 1:10 560. Visited by OS (J M) 8 December 1976
