Full Description

At NC 94782045 and NC 94832046, in a gently-shelving southerly-facing hillside, are two hut-circles, A and B respectively, in association with a minor field system. This last extends discontinuously along and up the hill-side in a west north-westerly direction for perhaps 200 metres from the more sheltered situation of the huts. The field system lacks the usually accompanying field clearance mounds and is only denoted by lynchets, some well-defined and lengthy, and occasional wasted field banks, the latter in some instances seeming to overlay the former. One plot between the huts is discernible, 35.0m by 20.0m.
'A' only remains a peat-silted platform, about 12.0m diameter plainly edged on the N arc by the scarp formed in the levelling into the slope. 'B', set into the slope and completely heather-covered, is 9.5m diameter inside a much reduced wall vaguely spread to 1.5m; an entrance is possibly from the S arc.
Surveyed at 1:10 560.
