Description

An archaeological desk-based assessment and watching brief were undertaken by N Lindsay in 2019 on a controlled topsoil strip of an area to the NE of the dwelling house named Cracail, at Torroble, in the parish of Lairg, Sutherland. The survey area comprised the proposed site of 4 glamping pods, a dwelling house and an access track. No features or finds of any archaeological significance were discovered during the controlled topsoil strip. <1>
