Full Description

There are the remains of two lades in the Manse garden. One, the older, is partly filled with ash and rubbish with building foundations that suggest a Clack mill. The other lade slate-lined is in good condition in places. The Ardgour papers confirm these, there is a suggestion that there was a cloth mill there also, however this may refer to the Clovullin mil (see SMR NN06SW0041). G Clark, Treslaig (ref 60).
