EHG152 - Walkover survey - A836 Farr to Kirtomy
Technique(s)
Organisation
Alba Archaeology Ltd
Date
30 November 1997
Description
The survey was carried out between 21 and 23 October 1997. With the exception of a few light showers on 22 October the weather varied between bright sunshine and slightly overcast conditions with average temperatures. Ground conditions varied between heather cover, mostly short to medium height, to short grass sward at the western end of the area. Survey was hampered, however, by dead bracken, some dense, particularly in the westernmost 800 m. <1>
