An excavation, subsequent to topsoil stripping, part of a programme of works at Slackbuie, was undertaken by SUAT in 2007. Two areas were excavated. In Area A a large mid to late Bronze Age dwelling and other structures were recorded. In Area B a number of scattered pits were recorded, too sparse to be indicative of a structure. Evidence of industrial process was also recovered. <1>
